Encounters Wine Bar & Covid-19

We at Country Encounters & Encounters Wine Bar and Small Plate Kitchen make the health and safety of our team and guests our top priority every day. During this time, we will be increasing our diligence to keep our community healthy and safe. We are following the public health recommendations of Alberta and local health departments, regarding COVID-19. We are taking the following extra steps for your health and safety. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-
Offering take out and delivery from a special menu.
-
Increased cleaning and disinfecting of all high-contact surfaces⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-
Continued deep cleaning and sanitation of the restaurant daily⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-
Educating our staff on preventative measures including an increased frequency of our already diligent hand washing policy⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-
Ensuring all team members are healthyâ €
-
inviting dine-in on a reservation only bases to ensure best experience and safety for our guests and staff.
-
ensuring contact team members use PPE to protect themselves and our guests including masks and gloves with frequent changes.
-
Food preparation teams continue to practice careful hand wash procedures and wear gloves when appropriate. You may notice that our hot line cooks do not wear gloves. The reasoning behind this practice is that is better to wash hands more frequently than to wear gloves and run the risk of melting them to your hand.
-
We have social distanced the dining room to allow for 6 feet between tables and reduced the seating capacity to less than 1/2.
-
social distancing spots and info posters to help remind guests to keep their distance.
-
pay at the table to prevent any gathering at bar.
-
Hand sanitizer station for guests
-
Tables are set just prior to your reservation using high temp. sanitized china and glassware and rolled cutlery.
